Alabama Music Education COVID-19
Continuing Music Education Considerations
Updated: June 11, 2021
The Alabama Music Educators Association and our component divisions advocate for every child in Alabama to have unencumbered access to a full music education K-12.
Each school and system presents different circumstances, challenges, and opportunities. Any decision about providing music education in your school and/or system should include the local music educator(s) and administrator(s) with consultation of guidance from the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
